STILT-WALKERS have told the Hindu story of Ramayana in a performance along Dovercourt seafront.
Children from Spring Meadow and Harwich Community primary schools took part in the performance alongside the four stilt-walkers.
The parade from Cliff Park to the High Lighthouse told the story of Rama’s journey to rescue his wife Sita from the evil clutches of Ravan, King of Lanka.
Spring Meadow teacher Emma Donegan, said: “It was a wonderful experience for the children to be able to work with the artists in school creating their character flags and learning about the Hindu story of Ramayana."
