DINOSAURS and mummies captivated pupils when a children’s author visited a primary school and opned a new library.
Ian MacDonald was visiting Spring Meadow primary school in Dovercourt as part of their literacy week.
Mr MacDonald, whose books include The Mummy’s Finger and Skateboard Gran, organised special workshops for each year group.
The school’s literacy week ended with the opening of the new school library.
