TODDLERS were treated to a magic show to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their nursery.

Noah’s Nursery, in Barrack Lane, Harwich, held a day of activities for all the children at the centre to mark the milestone.

Babies had a music day, while toddlers and pre-school-aged children saw a magic show and had a tea party. All the children were then given gifts from bath toys to bubbles or books.

Supervising manager Maggie Harvey said: “When we started, I think there was a need for full day care. I think it was a Government incentive to encourage parents back to work.

“We take babies from three months old up to school age. We’ve always known it this way, but when we first opened, it was probably one of the very few places around here that did it.”

Maggie has been at the nursery since it opened.

“It’s been a really nice ten years,” she added.

“It’s lovely to see them grow up and know when they go off to school, they will be confident.”
