PLANS for 14 new homes in a village have been given the go ahead.
The scheme for land south of Station Road in Wrabness was approved at a Tendring Council planning meeting by seven votes to two.
The proposal includes four affordable homes and was opposed by Wrabness Parish Council.
Permission has been given outline consent with 15 conditions and planning boss Carlo Guglielmi said: “This is going to be a cracking scheme right in the heart of the village which will provide 14 new homes.
“I hope some discussions can be held to try to resolve some of the outstanding issues.”
