GOOD causes in Harwich could be set for a financial boost after a bingo hall began a fundraising project.

The admission fee for Sunday night games at Top Draw Bingo in Kingsway, Dovercourt, will go towards the new scheme.

Each player pays £1 to get in with the money collected eventually going to those most in need in the area.

Manager Craig Dunn said: “Once the pot gets to £400/500 or even £1,000 we will give it away to a local charity or projects."

Games run between 6.45pm and 9.15pm on Sundays.
