YOUNGSTERS could soon be catching speeding drivers in Mistley and educating them about the dangers of flouting 30mph limits.
Mistley Norman Primary School wants its pupils to take part in a road safety campaign with the police.
Councillor Jenny Chaplin told a Mistley Parish Council meeting on Tuesday she had been in contact with the headteacher about the scheme.
She said: “It would happen on The Walls and hopefully along New Road.
“The children would speak to the driver and talk about the risk of speeding to children.”
