NORTH Essex commuters are facing an evening of disruption after a person was hit by a train.

The incident happened earlier today, at Forest Gate, and caused disruption to services from Liverpool Street to Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester and Clacton.

Lines have reopened but Greater Anglia bosses are warning all routes will be disrupted until at least 8pm.

Ticket restrictions have been lifted for the evening peak period.
