BIG-HEARTED Lawford Scouts are hosting a weekend of fundraising from next Friday.
All proceeds from the events at the Venture Centre, in Bromley Road, will be split between the First Lawford Scout Group and Urology Cancer Support Group Colchester.
Between 7.30pm and 10.30pm tomorrow a shuffleboard tournament will be held, with teams of three competing against each other.
Entry is £3 for adults and free for children under 16 years old.
On Saturday, there will be a Michael Buble act, featuring a live band and a selection of real ales.
Tickets are £6 for adults and £1 for children.
The final event will be a Sunday lunch from 11am with steak pie, seasonal vegetables and apple crumble for £9 per person.
