FIRST World War songs and poetry will bring the sounds of the past to life this month.
The Electric Palace in Harwich will lift its curtain for national Heritage Open Days on September 13 and 14.
To commemorate the centenary of the start of the First World War there will be recordings, live theatre performances and archive film footage shown.
The palace, on King’s Quay Street, will be open from 10.30am to 4pm each day.
