A COMMUNITY has been urged to pull together to create a one-stop tourism destination in an effort to rejuvenate Harwich.
Ivy-league professor David Shore, known as a world authority on branding, reputation and trust, said there was a need to show what Harwich had to offer
“What is the one thing that Harwich is going to hang its hat on?" he said.
“What do you want people to remember at the end of the day? Something intangible.
“There are many unique parts of Harwich – it’s about connecting the dots.
“If I go to London ,I can get a hopper bus and there is a map that puts it all together.
“Most people don’t have the time or inclination to do that kind of research – you have to spoonfeed them and package it.”
