A TEENAGER from East Bergholt is celebrating after winning a dance competition at a town famed for being the home of ballroom.
Tom Everitt, 13, competed in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing grand finals championships in Blackpool on November 1.
Dancing with his teacher, Crystal Main, Tom won first place in the jive, beating 44 other competitors aged between 12 and 16 to take first prize.
After his win, the East Bergholt High School pupil took to the floor for the cha cha.
In that round, he came second out of 46 couples.
