CADETS have been praised for helping raise money for the Royal British Legion.
Manningtree’s Army Cadets spent two Saturdays selling a variety of poppy items from a stall in Manningtree Market.
Money raised from the sale of all Poppy Appeal items goes towards the Royal British Legion’s welfare work for servicemen and women, veterans, and their families.
Belinda Isted, of the cadets, said: “They have received so many compliments from the local people for their enthusiasm and perseverance considering the weather. For that, they should be very proud of themselves.”
