FC CLACTON manager David Coyle wants to bring in “one or two” new players but is not expecting any more departures.

It proved a busy weekend for the club, despite not having a first-team fixture, with various comings and goings at the Rush Green Bowl.

Jake Plane and Jack Clampin both announced they were leaving, with the latter joining Thurlow Nunn League rivals Stanway Rovers.

Full-back James Bolton had already left last week, saying he could not commit to the club anymore, while Luke Avenell and Scott Yearling – who had both been on loan from Brightlingsea Regent – have now moved on to Halstead Town.

On the flip side, Clacton have welcomed back two former favourites in the shape of James Dunkley and Kevin Coyle.
