CLACTON’S Alex Davies was left speechless after crashing out of the UK Snooker Championship.
The 27-year-old lost 6-4 in the first round to Indian Aditya Mehta.
Davies, the world number 75, has been out of form all season, winning just three matches – all during qualifying for the Shanghai Masters back in August.
And afterwards he said: “It went very badly and I’m speechless as to how bad I am at the moment.
“Sadly, that was probably one of my better performances but I left it too late at 4-1 behind.
“I threw frames away and to play like that was poor.
“I don’t know what the answer is.
“I've had one good tournament and I’m just too easy to beat.”
