DEFIANT Heybridge Swifts manager Keith Wilson says he and his players must dust themselves down and prepare for a pivotal week in the club’s season.

The Scraley Road side were left licking their wounds after bowing out of the FA Trophy on Tuesday night.

They lost 3-2 at home to Lewes, in a second qualifying round replay, after equalising twice through Reece Morgan and Michael Fitzgibbon.

Wilson admitted being “gutted” by the setback but says he and his squad have to pick themselves up and refocus on their upcoming games against Redbridge, Wroxham and Tilbury.

The first two are on the road, on Saturday and Tuesday respectively, before Tilbury visit Scraley Road on December 6.

“We’ve got to dust ourselves down because we’ve got a massive seven days coming up,” said Wilson.

“We need at least six points out of nine from those three matches.

“If we lose to those sides we’re deep in trouble, so we need to get some results and I’d take a win in any way, shape or form against anyone."
