CLACTON Golf Club’s new lady captain, Julia Hewett, drove into office on a chilly Tuesday morning.
Hewett, who has been playing at the club for several years, has announced that her charity for the year will be Sense.
Following the drive-in, Clacton’s ladies played an 18-hole high/lo stableford competition and the winner was Heather Bradfield, with 43 points.
In second was Sue Carter, with 41, and in third was Eve Bracci, with 40.
