THE sounds of Christmas songs will fill Harwich next week with an annual travelling carol service.
Accompanied by the piano accordion of Gordon Rudland, members of the Harwich Society will spread festive cheer as they move around the town singing and raising money for Little Oakley Football Club’s youth teams on Thursday.
Anna Rendell-Knights said: “However cold it is outside, the carols always create a warm glow.
“Those using the pubs and restaurants of historic Harwich are always very generous in their support of the Harwich Society and I am sure this year’s carol singing will be able to boost the funds of this very worthwhile cause.”
The society will be visiting the majority of pubs and restaurants in the town throughout the evening.
