CHILDREN and teachers donned cave man outfits and hunted mammoths as part of a Stone Age themed school day.
Spring Meadow Primary School in Dovercourt stepped back in time to learn about the topic of the Stone Age, which they have been studying in class.
About 70 Year Three and Four pupils took part in the event with both staff and children dressing up in costumes from the historical period, which included fur and leopard print robes, along with mad wigs and facial hair in true caveman style.
