FRINTON Golf Club held their four clubs and a putter competition.

Sixty men competed and the winner was John Oakford, with 36 points.

Two others came in just behind with 35 points, but Hamish Stubbs was awarded second place on countback, ahead of Ben Osborne.

The ladies played a ten-hole non-qualifying stableford.

Yvonne Davies was the winner, way out in front with 20 points.

Loraine Motion came second, with 16.

Two women accumulated 15 points, but lady captain Judy Taylor was awarded third place on countback, ahead of Caroline Gard.

In the Kirby Course autumn eclectic event, Bernadette West won with 21 points and Mary Johnson was second, with a score of 23.

The results of the men’s “Ins v the Outs” competition were announced and those living inside the gates won 7-5.
