CLACTON powerlifter Pat Tombs raised the bar once again at the Eastern Region Powerlifting Championship, in Brentwood.
The 68-year-old opened her account with comfortable lifts in all three disciplines and her opening attempts secured her qualification for the British Championship, in Stafford, at the end of March.
With an air of confidence, Tombs achieved a 65kg squat.
She then improved on her personal best with an impressive 45kg bench press and a huge 100kg deadlift.
Weighing in at 48kg, this unprecedented lift was more than double her body weight.
