FC CLACTON suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Whitton United today.
The Suffolk side netted twice in the closing stages of the first half, making it five straight defeats for the Seasiders.
Whitton's first came from a header, following a left-wing cross, and they soon added a second after the hosts missed opportunities to clear the danger.
Clacton's disappointment was compounded by a red card for Tom Holdstock.
The striker was dismissed after receiving two bookings.
