SUZANNE Warren clocked three personal best times at the Groundhog Swimming Championships, in Norwich.
The S5 Para-swimmer, from Holland-on-Sea, produced a stunning performance and was rewarded with new best times in the 50 metres freestyle, 50m butterfly and 100m freestyle.
Her display was all the more impressive given that it was an able-bodied gala, featuring 400 swimmers from across the UK.
“I was really pleased with my performance,” said Warren, who won last year’s Tendring Female Sports Personality Award.
“It’s still early in the season, so we haven’t worked on top speed yet.
“But to come away with three personal bests was fantastic.
“It was also lovely to receieve so many positive comments from other swimmers, in addition to congratulations from officials, coaches from other clubs and even parents.”
