CHARITY volunteers have cleared a piece of waste land in time for the final batch of murals to be installed.
The Harwich Mayflower Project has been working with groups to produce the paintings which are being displayed around the perimeter of the project site on George Street.
Individuals from the project, Seetec training and Tendring Council teamed up to clear the “eyesore” piece of land close to the A120.
Spokesman for the charity, Sean Day, said: “The now cleared space has been totally transformed by the teams involved.”
