A NEW crackdown on dog fouling across Tendring has already started to pay dividends.
Four fixed penalty notices have been handed out in just a week since Tendring Council called for more information on irresponsible owners.
Dog Warden Adam McGoldrick, said: “The initiative has just got off the ground and already we are seeing results."
The notices were handed out to a dog owner in Holland-on-Sea and one owner is receiving three notices for separate incidents in Clacton.
Patrols will now be carried out in a bid to catch owners both during the week and at weekends.
Offenders can be reported on 01255 686766 or by emailing dogwardens@tendringdc.gov.uk
