BOARDS to stop vandalism and flytipping are being installed at a village eyesore.
Residents complained about Parkeston House, in Adelaide Street, Parkeston, becoming derelict and a grotspot.
Youngsters had also reportedly been playing in the property, which has stood empty for eight months.
The boards are being put up by Tendring Council to prevent anyone getting into the former office site.
The move, costing £20,000, will see all the ground-floor windows and entrances covered with steel boards and those on the top floor covered with plywood.
