A HORSE charity faces being made homeless and forced to close after being given months to leave its yard in Ramsey.

Just three months ago Harwich Horse Rangers was given notice on a field in Ramsey where some of the horses graze.

But now the charity, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has also been told to leave its main yard by May 2016.

Without stables or fields to move to the horses will be left homeless and the charity unable to carry on.

Trustee Jenni Bush said: "Should a new home not be found we will have to of course decide what will happen to the horses and sadly many children will be devastated, because rangers isn’t just somewhere to ride we are a family."

A new home is needed by May 2016 and would need land to graze horses, an area that could be used for riding and somewhere to store rugs and tack.

Anyone able to help is asked to call Jenni Bush on 07771 748 363 or email info@harwichhorserangers.co.uk.
