Athletes support ship build
ATHLETES have shown their support for an ambitious ship build by donating hundreds of pounds to the charity.
Harwich Runners handed over a cheque for £700 to the Harwich Mayflower Project this week.
Tom Daly, chairman of the Mayflower charity, said: "We're so pleased to receive this generous donation.
"The Harwich Runners committee decided that the money would be of great benefit to this local project and were proud to support such a worthy local cause.
"We are very grateful for their support."
