CLACTON Rugby Club's under-14s ran out comfortable 59-7 winners in their latest match at Colchester.

They lent the hosts some players to make the numbers up.

The Seasiders made a bright start, scoring a try in the first minute through Ben Ainslie.

Tom Parry then ran the whole length of the pitch, fending off players along the way, to add to the score.

Haseem Wingfield’s conversion made it 12-0.

James Price received the ball after a scrum and charged for the line, with his try converted by Robert Parry.

New addition Billy Stinton then got the ball and showed lightning pace and fantastic footwork to score another.

Tom Parry soon added his second try, using him power to free himself from tacklers, and he charged over the line for an effort that was converted by brother Robert.

From the kick-off, Stinton made a clean catch and ran in a straight line down the middle.

The defence parted and he was able to score his second try, with Wingfield converting. From another scrum, another new player, Kye Stokes, crossed the line with four players desperately trying to bring him to the deck.

Wingfield kicked another two points over.

There was a little change around for the second half, with a couple of Clacton’s strongest players moving across to Colchester.

This did slow the scoring rate, but Wingfield found a gap and sprinted half the pitch to score, followed by another conversion for Robert Parry.

Colchester finished the game by managing to get some points on the board, making it 52-7.

But full-back Tom Parry had the final say, bringing up his hat-trick of tries with an effort that was again converted by brother Robert.
