FC CLACTON boss David Coyle believes he has a three-pronged strike-force that can cause major problems next season.

Ben Parkin has signed a one-year contract and looks set to play up front alongside Aaron Condon and Kevin Coyle.

The Seasiders did not score enough goals last season – a fact that contributed to their struggles near the foot of the table.

However, Coyle has acted quickly to solve the problem and believes he now has a strike force that could do damage to Thurlow Nunn League defences.

“I see it as a great piece of business because it’s a fact we didn’t score enough goals last season,” said the Seasiders boss.

“Ben will chip in with goals.

“He’ll help the team and he’ll complement the attacking players we’ve already got.

“He’s going to be an integral part of our squad and he’ll come straight in as our first-choice striker – our number nine.

“He works hard, is strong and a real handful.

“He caused a lot of problems for defences last season.

“I’m excited to have him on board and think we’ll start next season with an impressive front three."
