RESIDENTS are being encouraged to up their recycling efforts next week as part of a national initiative.
Tendring Council officers will be speaking to people about how they can increase the amount they recycle during National Recycle Week.
Teams will be at Dovercourt market next Friday between 9am and 3pm.
Michael Talbot, cabinet member for environment, said that the initiative will fit in with National Recycle Week.
“The theme this year is recycling around the home and therefore what we are doing will compliment that perfectly,” he said.
“Officers will be more than happy to discuss any recycling issues with residents and shoppers and also advise them how to get more from their recycling. I hope people will take the chance to talk to them at the various stores.”
