FIRE officers were called when a gazebo which had been blown away by strong winds got caught in overhead power lines.
Two crews from Colchester attended the scene on Frating Road in Great Bromley at 4.20pm on Monday.
The electricity board isolated the power supply while crews used the aerial ladder platform to retrieve the gazebo from the power lines.
The area was declared safe just before 5.15pm.
