A HOMEOWNER has called for action to be taken on the site of a dilapidated listed building.

Stanley Wrenn, of Pound Farm Drive, has called for the Pound Farm House site, in Dovercourt, to be tidied up.

He claims his garden fence, which backs on to the site, has had to be replaced four times in 15 years due to overgrown weeds.

Mr Wrenn, 70, has complained to Tendring Council.

“I have lived here 15 years and have had to replace my fence the whole way through – about four times,” he said. “ A spokesman for the owners of Pound Farm House said: “In the next few weeks, there will be a full announcement through the press about what is going on at the site.

“At present, we are finalising the last few details.”
