A GROT-SPOT plagued by vandals and fly-tippers is to be sold at auction.
Parkeston House, in Adelaide Street, Parkeston, is among the lots being offered by auctioneer Eddisons at a sale in London later this month.
Last year, almost 300 residents signed a petition lobbying for urgent action to be taken on the site amid fears for people’s safety.
Youngsters had reportedly been playing in the property, which has stood empty for a year.
As a result, Tendring Council spent £20,000 boarding up the windows with steel and plywood in an effort to prevent people getting into the property.
The property will now go under the hammer, with a guide price of £175,000, at Le Meridien in Piccadilly on July 15.
