LIVE bands, children’s games and sports day-style races are set to entertain crowds tomorrow at the first Wrabfest.

The community-led project will have a range of food and a licensed bar, which will include a selection of local real ales.

There will also be a bouncy castle and a variety of games during the day, including a coconut shy, hook a duck, stocks and sponges and splat the rat.

A children’s activity tent will house crafts, a sandpit, games and toys, while school sports day-style activities will include sack races, egg and spoon races, wheelbarrow races and fill the bucket.

There will also be a team tug-of-war and horse and trap rides.

Live music starts at noon with the Sea Shanty Crew (right) and is followed by the Landed, Helen Abbey and Matt Keene, Uncle Black, Harwich Sing, 5 aside, Joel Fisk and The Breakdown, Bolognese Strip Joint, Adrian Nation, Red Hot Radiators and a DJ set with Jeremy Durrant.

Tickets are available from Wrabness Community Shop, on the gate, or online at wrabnessfete.uk, priced at £5 for adults, £2.50 for under-18s and free for children under six years old.

Family tickets cost £12.50 for two adults and two children.
