A DISABLED woman has hit out at flytippers for dumping a bedframe outside her gate leaving her trapped in her home.
Susan Botfield can only get out of her ground floor flat using a mobility scooter, which has to go through the back gate of her Albermarle Street home in Harwich.
Already plagued with overgrown weeds, Mrs Botfield says she is reguarly stung by nettles when she attempts to use the lane that runs along the back of the gardens.
"I can't walk far because I've got arthritis in both of my legs," she said.
"If I need to go out then I need my scooter and that has to go out of the back gate.
"I can't turn right along the alleyway because it's blocked by weeds."
A bedbase was dumped in the lane last week preventing Mrs Botfield from being able to leave her home, but council officers have since removed it.
