FC CLACTON’S young footballers have plenty to celebrate – both on the pitch and off it.
The club’s under-14 blues are unbeaten in their opening five matches – three in the league and two in the cup – and the most recent was a 9-0 demolition of Frinton and Walton, last Sunday.
Rafferty Jordan scored four and he was joined on the scoresheet by Alex Katori (two), Brad Tims, Harry Campbell and Harry Wheatley.
Meanwhile, the team have received a boost off the pitch thanks to generous sponsorship from Carteks service, MOT and repair centre, in Gorse Lane.
Owner Simon Harvey has bought the team a full training kit, tracksuits and bags.
