Morris dancing will be taking over The Maybush
MORRIS dancers will kick off a day of dancing in Great Oakley this weekend.
The visit is part of the Morris Traveller 2017 event, which will see the Leading Light Morris Dancers visit five venues in Tendring.
Organised by Tendring Camra, the dancers will perform at The Maybush Inn in Great Oakley at midday as part of the pub’s St George’s Weekend celebration complete with English ales for the occasion.
The dancers will go on to visit The Red Lion in Kirby le Soken at 1.15pm, Essex Skipper in Frinton at 2.30pm, The Manor in Great Oakley at 3.45pm and Wick Lodge in Jaywick at 4.45pm.
