A CHOIR of orphaned African children are performing three free concerts in Dovercourt.
The Watoto Children’s Choir will share stories of their lives as well as sing and dance at the performances on May 30, 31 and June 1.
Held at King’s Way Community Church in Main Road, Dovercourt, the Signs and Wonders concert is part of a tour of the choir, made up of orphans and vulnerable children from Uganda.
John Maxwell, of the church, said: “The choir is 18 children plus adults and a backing group. The Watoto is a ministry that does a lot of work in Africa. This is the only way they make money - they only do free concerts but a collection is held on the night for donations.”
