Plans to create new horse manege are approved
A VILLAGE looks set to have a new schooling area for horses created.
Tendring Council has granted planning permission to Tina Lockwood for land to the east of Croft House in Colchester Road, Wix.
The area is surrounded by close hedged and trees and is currently used for equestrian purposes.
The new manege will be 20 metres by 40 metres and the scheme will include the drainage of surface water into a ditch.
The council decided that due to the location and screening there will be no harm to the visual amenity or landscape character.
No comments were received from Wix Parish Council or from residents.
