FIVE people were treated for injuries after a crash on the A120.
Two cars collided on the eastbound carriageway between Colchester and Horsley Cross shortly before the turn off for the A133 towards Clacton.
Part of the road was blocked for more than two hours after the crash just after 9.20am.
Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer attended the incident after one of the cars ended up in ditch.
Three patients were treated at the scene and two were taken to Colchester General Hospital with minor injuries.
