A FESTIVAL celebratings music, entertainment and community spirit is being held on Saturday.

Following the year-on-year success since the launch of Wrabfest organisers have decided to hold the festival for a third year in a row.

The niche village festival is held in Wrabness by volunteers from in and around the village for visitors to celebrate the best of the summer season.

Last year more than 2,000 visitors came to the festival to listen to live music from local bands, enjoy beers and burgers and watch performers demonstrate their skills.

This year festival favourites The Landed and The Red Hot Radiators will be performing on one of the two main stages at the event.

Other singers and bands, including The Band of Fools, Stiff in the Morning, Luke Fisher and Harwich Sing, will also be taking to the stages.

This year the festival will have an arena with displays, traditional village fete games, a children's zone with entertainer and crafts, and a varity of music performances.

Wrabfest is a non-profit event with any proceeds being invested into future events and community activities.

The festival is taking place on Saturday from 11am to 11pm.
