A museum is celebrating another record breaking summer for visitor numbers.
So far this year 3,000 people have seen the museum’s latest exhibition - School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Following on from the success of last year’s Sci-Fi at the Movies exhibition, since July, the museum has been taking visitors to the magical world of Harry Potter.
More than 900 people visited the museum to see live owls, magicians and enjoy some magical treats during the Harry Potter Day event on July 25.
There have also been daily craft sessions throughout the summer holidays, many of which were fully booked weeks before the holidays started.
Run by education officer Laura Worthington and a team of volunteers, the events had would-be magicians making quills, potions and the like.
After the success of the first day, Harry Potter Day 2 will take place at the museum on Tuesday, October 24., between 10am and 4pm.
Activities are free with the price of entry to the museum, £4 for adults, £3 for concessions and £2 for children.
