A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Braintree.
A 40-year-old man was sitting in his car outside Toby Carvery, off the B1256 at Notley Cross, at about 11.40am on September 7 when he was alledgedly approached by a man who attempted to punch him.
A man was arrested on September 12.
John McDonagh, 32, of Winterbourne Caravan Park, Bristol, has been charged with assault and theft.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on October 12.
