UPDATED: MOTORISTS faced traffic delays on the A12 following two separate crashes this morning.
Two cars were involved in a collision on the southbound carriageway between junction 25 for Marks Tey and 24 for Kelvedon earlier today, leaving ‘significant debris’ on the carriageway.
The scene was cleared and vehicles moved to the side of the road but heavy traffic remained in the area throughout the morning rush hour.
Another crash, involving a lorry and three cars, close to junction 25, A120 London, blocked lane three of the carriageway.
Traffic built between Feering and Colchester, as far as junction 28 at the Weston Homes stadium, as a result of the two collisions.
Traffic flow has now returned to normal.
