Trio appear in court charged with assaulting two men in their 50s
THREE people have appeared in court after two men in their 50s were assaulted in Brightlingsea.
Police were called to Queen Street on Saturday at around 8.25pm following reports of an assault outside the Kings Head pub.
A spokesman for Essex Police said one of the victims suffered serious injuries.
A 17-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old man appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
All three will next appear in court on Monday, July 30.
