TOWN centre improvements, attracting tourists and heritage will be discussed at a meeting this afternoon.
The newly-formed Coastal Renaissance Board, led by both Tendring Council and Essex County Council, will have its first meeting in Harwich, where Lord Hanningfield will set out what the group plans to do.
Issues concerning Harwich, Dovercourt, Clacton, Jaywick, Walton and Frinton will all be addressed.
Lord Hanningfield, leader of Essex County Council, said: “The aim of the Coastal Renaissance Board is to provide overall leadership and direction to projects which are not only sustainable but will deliver enormous benefit to coastal areas and communities.
The Electric Palace and Harwich International Port are thought to be on the agenda.
