CHANGING rooms for a youth football team have been approved by Tendring Council.

Ramsey and Parkeston Parish Council submitted a planning application last year for two portacabins to be put up on Recreation Ground for Ramsey Vipers.

Two demountable buildings will be put up on Ramsey War Memorial Playing Fields for the children to change in.

Ramsey Vipers has been using the fields since they outgrew their old training ground at Harwich Sports Centre last year.

Since the move the club has been attracting between 80 and 100 seven to ten-year-olds regularly.
