Brantham: nominate your outstanding youngster

YOUNGSTERS who have achieved something outstanding are to be recognised through a new parish cup.

Brantham Parish Council has decided to introduce the award aimed at under 18s who live in the village.

It is now seeking nominations.

Nominees could include someone who has done volunteering work, fundraising, or who has an outstanding academic, sporting or music achievement.

A young carer or someone who has overcome a disability could also be eligible for the accolade.

The cup will be presented by the council in July.
