Manningtree: Buses replace trains

BUSES have replaced trains between Manningtree and Harwich this afternoon.

Signalling problems at Mistley have caused delays of up to 20 minutes all afternoon for any services running through the area.

Buses are expected to run between the two towns until 6.30pm tonight. Short notice alterations and cancellations should also be expected, National Express East Anglia is warning.

Engineers are reportedly on site and dealing with the problem.
