Nature loving Scouts are helping keep birds fed this winter by hanging food in a nature reserve.
The Beavers of 4th Dovercourt Sea Scouts visited Bobbits Hole, in Main Road, Harwich on Tuesday November 22 to hang up the balls of food.
The youngsters had made the food to their own recipe and some even had twig platforms for the birds to land on.
Bobbits Hole is owned by The Harwich Society, and its chairman Colin Farnell, said: "The Beavers had put a lot of thought into how to help wild birds during the winter.
“It was fantastic to see their efforts put to good use at Bobbits Hole."
